Common misconceptions about psychics. What's true and what's not?

Misconception #1: All psychics do the same thing.

This isn't true. "Psychic" is an umbrella term, and different practitioners have different methods and specialties. For example:

- Tarot/oracle readers use symbolism and guidance from card pulls.

- Mediums channel insights from spirit guides.

- Clairvoyants receive visions and insights.

These are just a few common approaches. I personally use a different method, which is why results can vary from reader to reader. Each practitioner is interpreting information through their own process.

Misconception #2: A psychic reading will solve your life for you.

This isn't true. A reading can offer clarity, direction, and perspective, and it may help you see options you hadn't considered. But a reading can't do the inner work for you. Real change usually requires your participation. Your choices, boundaries, and action.

Misconception #3: Only desperate people get readings.

This isn't true. Some people do seek readings during breakups, loss, or crises, so it can look like readings are only for emergencies. But many emotionally healthy, grounded people get readings the same way they might use coaching: for reflection and insight.

Readings can be especially helpful when you're at a crossroads, like career decisions, moving, personal growth, and more.

Misconception #4: Psychics can tell the future with 100% accuracy.

This is both true and not true. The part that is true is that psychics can tell your future with strong accuracy. The part that is untrue is that your choices and actions can shift outcomes of events in the future.

Misconception #5: If you don't resonate with a reading, it's automatically wrong.

This isn't true. Not resonating doesn't automatically mean a reading is inaccurate. A message makes sense later, as circumstances unfold. Other times, it challenges an emotional defense, a hope, or a coping strategy of yours, so it doesn't resonate against your defenses.
